I have mentioned in my previous posts that one of Lia's favorite things to do, which she finds very enjoyable, is gross motor play. Anything physical- running, climbing, balancing, you name it. So I got too excited planning for this Circus Theme, which was a last minute decision {I originally planned for Cc is for cat, which I thought was something that's too usual}. So for this theme, let these pictures speak for the fun we had!
I originally wanted Lia to shoot these table tennis balls into the cups but she preferred to pour them all in a cup or transfer them to and fro!
Then I assembled these cups and let her roll the ball...
...to her delight!
that was too funny! Let's do it again!
Ready, set, go!
She enjoyed seeing the cups topple down...the only thing that's not too enjoyable is to put them all up again...Haha! It takes more time and effort to assemble these cups...and boom!
We tried ring toss too. Well, supposedly. But this little girl preferred to sit and do what she likes better.
Balancing is the best part...and Dada is here too!
Balancing, jumping, getting back on the roll...repeat!
Then we settled with a Circus-themed printable from Homeschool Creations. I love her free awesome printables!
Identifying numbers... then we were done for the week!
