Ff Week wouldn't be complete without a fish-themed activity! For Fish we got our printables from Confessions of a Homeschooler {check out her awesome website, she has tons of printables and great lesson plans}.
I've realized that Lia isn't into coloring lately. She likes them and would do some scribbling, but wouldn't stay too long with it.
She was done with it!
Then we glued the parts of the fish together: eyes, fins, tail and all!
It wasn't too bad after all. She got a little help from Mama though.
Then we tried revealing this cute fish picture by completing this puzzle...
and sang this really fun song! Lia was swaying her head back and forth.
She was dancing with the "Fishy" as she calls it...oh the giggles!
Then I painted this box that I've been keeping for quite some time. It's a wallet box, where the front portion is open. Great idea to make a mini aquarium!
Then I googled for cartoon fish images and cut them out. I wish I took note of where I got this from {if this was from you, let me know so I can acknowledge}.
and Lia went to town gluing the fishes and seaweed!
"Lia's turn" is always her favorite line when she wants to do things by herself. My baby is becoming so independent!
Then I gave her glitter glue sticks so she can design her mini aquarium...
and the finished product!
